Dorotea Sanz #2
While this band sampler has no signature, provenance indicates it has traveled with the piece signed by Dorotea Sanz for quite some time, so is pressumed to be hers also. Both the ground and threads used on this sampler are further evidence of companionship.
A very simplistic band sampler, clearly used to teach basic stitches to a young person. You can clearly see how the patterns and stitches at the top are ultra-basic, getting barely more complicated at the bottom. Repetition was clearly the teaching method of choice.
